Quality & Compliance
Compliance Is Not
an Add-On.
It Is the Process.
Every consignment passes through seven control points — from Halal assurance and veterinary certification to cold-chain monitoring and import clearance in Oman and the GCC.
Our Control Points
Seven steps that protect your cargo and your customers
Each step is documented, auditable and included in the document pack you receive with every shipment.
Halal Assurance
Halal slaughter and processing under recognised certification bodies; certificates issued per consignment.
- Approved Halal slaughter plants only
- Certificate and lot numbers on every carton
- Segregation from non-Halal product at all stages
Veterinary Health Certificates
Official veterinary certificates from the exporting country's competent authority confirm animal health status.
- Pre-export clinical examination and testing
- Certificate wording aligned to Oman import conditions
- Original documents travel with the cargo
Quarantine
Animals are held in approved pre-export quarantine and re-inspected on arrival under the supervision of Omani veterinary officers.
- Approved pre-export quarantine stations
- Arrival inspection by veterinary authorities
- Isolation protocol for any flagged animals
Traceability
Every animal or lot can be traced back to its farm or plant of origin and forward to the delivery point.
- Individual or lot ear-tag and batch records
- Plant approval numbers and production dates on meat
- Digital document archive for audits and recalls
Cold-Chain Monitoring
Chilled and frozen meat is held at the correct temperature from plant to receiving dock, with logged evidence.
- Chilled 0–4 °C; frozen −18 °C or below
- Container data loggers and temperature reports
- Pre-cooled reefers and sealed doors
Animal Welfare in Transport
We follow recognised welfare guidance for loading density, ventilation, feed, water and rest on land and at sea.
- Stocking density within accepted guidelines
- Veterinary and stockman supervision on voyage
- Feed and water for the full journey plus contingency
Oman MAFWR & GCC Import Requirements
We keep current with import conditions of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and GCC member states, and prepare every file accordingly.
- Import permits obtained before shipment
- Compliance with GCC technical rules and labelling
- Customs and port clearance handled end-to-end
Import conditions are set by competent authorities and may change. We confirm the current MAFWR and GCC requirements in writing for every order before shipment.
